MSA Gas Detection
In order to evaluate how much the human being is endangered by hazardous substances in the ambient air or explosive mixture of gases and vapours in the air, appropriate measuring instruments can be used to recognize measure and monitor dangerous concentrations.
We can offer a range of single gas monitors to provide protection against Oxygen (O2) deficient and enriched atmospheres. Carbon Monoxide (CO) and Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S). These devices can be worn by the user throughout the working day in safety. These monitors come in two versions 1.Disposable (Once activated will continuously monitor for 24 months) 2. Replaceable battery and sensor.
The measurement and protection against explosive atmospheres can be provided by the Titan single gas unit and the EX Meter II which can be calibrated to measure and protect against a variety of combustible gases and vapours. The EX Meter II can also be calibrated to measure aviation fuel (Jet A).
If you are looking to protect against more than one gas we can offer a range of multigas units which incorporate infra red and photo ionization technologies. The gases that can be monitored are Combustible, Oxygen, Hydrogen Sulphide, Carbon Monoxide, Chlorine, Ammonia, Sulphur Dioxide, Nitric Dioxide, Chlorine Dioxide, Hydrogen Cyanide, Phosphine, Ozone, Phosgene; The infra red sensors monitor Butane, Propane, Ethylene, Methane and Carbon Dioxide.
